The egg sinker is designed to let your bait move freely. It is designed with a hole through the middle of the sinker for your main line to be run through, allowing more flexibility. Egg sinkers can also be run direct to a hook or be placed above a swivel and leader. Egg sinkers are often preferred by anglers, as they have better bottom-holding characteristics than the ball sinker due to its flatter sides. These are good all-rounder sinkers, ideally suited to running sinker rigs when you want your bait to move around with the current. They are available in the sizes; 20, 30, 40, 50 & 60 grams.
