The helmet is rugged, non-corroding, and distortion resistant. The sleek construction allows fast, easy raising and lowering of the visor even with globed hands.

- High-temperature foam cap which increases thermal and impact protection and a higher temperature impact cap liner resists distortion at higher temperatures
- Non-corroding, high temperature glass-filled faceshield/goggle hardware
